RWS-371 is WENSHING’s classic 5 V superregenerative ASK receiver: −108 dBm sensitivity, an LC resonant front end and six versions from 303.875 to 433.92 MHz. Minimal external parts and a lean cost make it a proven choice for gate openers, alarms and appliance remotes.

  1. Choose the frequency version and pair it with a WENSHING TWS-BS / TWS-DS transmitter or remote on the same frequency.
  2. Feed VCC from a stable supply with a 100 nF decoupling capacitor; tie GND to system ground.
  3. Connect a quarter-wave wire or PCB antenna to ANT, away from digital traces and metal housings.
  4. Route Digital Output to a decoder IC or an MCU GPIO/interrupt pin and decode address and keys.
  5. Use the decoded result to drive relays, motor controllers or alarm outputs.

RWS-371 FAQ

RWS-371 or RWS-371F?
Choose RWS-371 (4.9–5.1 V) for a regulated 5 V system; choose the wide-voltage RWS-371F for lithium-cell or 3.8–5.5 V supplies. Sensitivity, frequency versions and pin-out are the same.
How do I choose the frequency version?
The receiver must match the transmitter frequency exactly. Choose 303.875 / 310 / 315 / 318 / 418 / 433.92 MHz according to the radio regulations of your target market and your existing remotes, and pair it with a WENSHING TWS transmitter on the same frequency.
What does the module output? Do I still need a decoder?
The module demodulates the ASK/OOK RF signal into digital data on the Digital Output pin. Address and key information are decoded by a decoder IC or your MCU — connect DATA to a GPIO or interrupt pin and decode in firmware.
Any PCB layout tips?
Place a 100 nF decoupling capacitor close to VCC/GND and use a clean supply. Keep the antenna feed short and away from digital lines, and keep a solid ground — this minimises noise and preserves range.
Superregenerative or superheterodyne — which should I use?
A superregenerative receiver has few parts, low cost and low current — ideal for high-volume remotes, door/gate controls and alarms. For noisy RF environments that need higher selectivity and frequency stability, choose the WENSHING superheterodyne receiver RWS-438.
