WS-ANT925SMA-12 is a 902–928MHz circularly polarized RFID tube antenna for track checkpoints and lap counting. Dimensions: 1000×185×27mm; weight: 2.25kg.
The tube format supports antenna layout planning at a designated track checkpoint. Circular polarization, high gain and low VSWR provide an antenna option for integration with a compatible reader, participant tags and lap-counting software.
Identify participant tags at a designated checkpoint and combine read events with software to record laps and passage times. Validate the actual running speed, number of simultaneous participants and tag position before deployment.
System integrators can plan start/finish or lap checkpoints using participant tags and reader events. The layout should limit unintended reads from adjacent lanes; software must handle duplicate events and lap rules.
Plan passage records for endurance training on a fixed route to help staff review completed laps and training history. Confirm coverage through on-site tests using the intended reader, cable and antenna orientation.
The 50 W value is the antenna maximum input power rating, not a recommended reader output setting. Configure the system for the applicable operating requirements and equipment.
The original sealed design supports planning for outdoor or buried installations, with a protective cover evaluated to suit the project. Site engineering must address drainage, cable routing, surface protection and safe passage. Provide track width, installation position or depth, reader model, connectors and cable length.
Test individual runners, parallel participants, different speeds, tag orientations, adjacent lanes and duplicate filtering. Timing resolution and accuracy depend on the reader, software clock and event logic. A system target such as 0.1 seconds requires validation; the antenna alone does not guarantee it.
No. A compatible reader, participant tags and software are needed to create lap records from RFID read events.
No. Read range depends on tags, reader power, cable loss, mounting and the environment. Test the actual checkpoint configuration.
The current specification is N-Female with a bottom-exit 1m RG58 cable. Dimensions are 1000×185×27mm and weight is 2.25kg. Check the reader-side connector and mounting space when ordering.
Provide installation details, passage conditions and site photos so the required protective arrangement can be evaluated.
Both language versions follow the current Chinese product specifications. The legacy tube antenna reference document lists WS-ANT925-12, 1220×190×25mm and 3kg. It describes a different historical version and must not be used as the dimensional basis for ordering this model.
